These types of NPD men are a dime a dozen.
He never loved you.
He just told you that he loved you, and he led you on. He probably mentioned your future together, and even marriage.
What does success really mean to you? Is it about happiness, money, or something else?
When he approached you, he never thought about love, because he did not love you. He only thought about how he could take from you, until you were left a dried-out husk.
This one is easy to answer.
You gave him everything. That is what he was after.
